Summer

Summer seems to be here. I'm managing to get some bits of time away from work, although there are still a lot of things I have to be doing, and finally after a long wet start to the summer we are having some bits of sunshine. As well as days out in Wales (see the previous post) we've had a lot of local excursions, and Debbie's typical pose is this one: lurking in the summer undergrowth photographing birds!

I've also been doing decorating, and for the first time ever we're about to buy a carpet!

Holiday Days at Lake Vyrnwy

Our new discovery this summer has been Lake Vyrnwy in mid Wales, and while I've been having a couple of weeks off work we've had a few days out there doing a bit of bird spotting, walking in the hills, and having cups of tea and ice cream at the country cafes.
